Community forums around Legal Capacity

Monica Schroeder at National Projects Coordinator works with Shelley Fletcher at PFC and they’re partnering with Inclusion Winnipeg and CACL to put together some community forums around Legal Capacity. They’re doing focus groups on the barriers to decision-making for people with an intellectual disability, specifically in the areas of Health, Finance and Community Support Services.
The forums will be in three communities:  Steinbach, Winnipeg and Brandon. At each location, we’ll be doing two focus groups, one with professionals in these areas and families and another with self-advocates.
